Eloise is Under an Almond Tree was one of the dramatised readings in both Spanish and English that the Spanish Theatre Company performed in the days before the Cervantes Theatre opened. A hilarious comedy of errors by Enrique Jardiel Poncela, acted as launchpad for the company to grow into the venue it’s become today.

FROM THE SPANISH THEATRE COMPANY TO THE CERVANTES THEATRE

The Spanish Theatre Company was founded by Jorge de Juan and Paula Paz in 2014. During 2015 and 2016 I worked as part of the core team in the pursue of opening the first Spanish speaking theatre in London the Cervantes Theatre. My relationship with them continued in 2017 when we co-produced The Dark Stone in the Cervantes Theatre and they now focus on producing Spanish theatre in the UK in both Spanish and English.
